This tamper and vandal resistant infrared equipped turret camera is weatherproof and designed for outdoor use. It has an integrated lens separator that eliminates IR haze and a Sony color CCD video sensor for clear, sharp imaging. The "ball" construction makes it easy to aim in the field.

Image Quality Protection
The ECL-555E has built-in infrared LEDs under photosensor control and a full Sony electronics imaging solution - 1/3" Sony Super HAD CCD video sensor and matching Sony digital signal processing (DSP) chipset. Matched electronics cuts down or eliminates problems with noise, video artifacts, and heat dissipation that can occur in un-matched designs.

The result is a truer, cleaner image that makes your video look great under all conditions. This helps make more efficient video files on security DVRs, economically conserving storage space without compromising image quality, image size, colors or frame rate.
